Isador Lubin, Commissioner of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor, today told a Senate Interstate Commerce Committee that Western Union and Postal could not meet provisions of the Wages and Hours Act 'without going further into the red.' He was testifying on a resolution recently introduced by Senator Burton K. Wheeler of Montana, which would authorize a complete study of the telegraph industry.
