Returns and Exchanges

Thank you for shopping at Snapshots of the Past. 


If you change your mind about an order you placed, please cancel your order within ONE (1) day following the date the order is placed.  All our framed pictures are printed and framed to order. So costs need to be incurred to begin the printing and framing process very soon after your order is placed.   Unfortunately, no orders can be cancelled more than 1 day after they are placed.   We apologize for any inconvenience.


If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Our products can be returned within 30 days of the original purchase. To be eligible for a return, please be sure that: 

  • The order was placed in the last 30 days

  • The product is in its original packaging   

  • The product isn't used or damaged

  • You obtain a Return Merchandise Number (RMN) from us 

Products that do not meet these criteria will not be considered for return. 

PLEASE NOTE: Because our framed pictures are custom made to order, and because there are certain fixed costs of labor and materials to create custom framed products that cannot be reclaimed if a product is returned (i.e. all prints are custom made and cannot be reused if returned, labor cost to frame must be incurred, etc.), all returns will be subject to a restocking fee.

Shipping charges on your order are non-refundable. 

You are responsible for paying the costs of return shipping and for the risk of loss or damage to the product upon returning a product to us. Please provide us with the tracking number once you ship your return. 


If you received a damaged product, please notify us immediately for assistance.
