Caption from caption list: This man raises rabbits to feed snakes. Rovert R. Lambert has been employed at the national Zoo Park for 12 years. He raises pheasants and other fancy birds for the Zoo use and for exchange. His principal work is raising rabbits, rats, mice and chickens which are used in feeding the animals and reptiles. Eggs are cooked and fed to those animals requiring this sort of nurishment [i.e., nourishment]. Photo shows Mr. Lambert with his chickens. Gift; Herbert A. French; 1947.
