Caption from caption list: The War Department has assigned the 63rd. Infrantry U.S.A. as a permanent National Guard of Washington D.C. It will be the duty of the Unit to guard the National Capitol in Peace times as well as War. Photo shows the Guard passing in Review at the Capitol today. Gift; Herbert A. French; 1947.
